DOUG SMITH
Vocal/Rhythm Guitar
Doug, a native Memphian, cut his teeth on the sweet sound of Memphis soul. Influenced early on by The Beatles and The Monkees, he began as a bass player and performed with the Trezevant High School Jazz Band, but ultimately, he just wanted to rock and roll. Doug has played in Memphis and Chicago with THE AGENCY, THE BOUFFANTS, and DUSTIN PARKER, and has now found his forever home with his best friends and bandmates in The Bugaloos.
MARTY ALPHINE
Lead Guitar/Vocals
Marty, with his exceptionally wide vocal range and energetic guitar solos, can bring excitement to the stage. As another North Memphis talent with many years of experience, he has formerly played with the band "Lickity Split."
JEREMY CONNERS
Drums
Jeremy made his way to Memphis from Philadelphia in 2016 to hone his drumming skills at Visible Music College. He's been performing, recording, and playing in bands his whole life, most recently "Subtle Citizen," "Chloe Pand the Scouts," and the "Pat Vaughan Band." From rock to jazz to soul, Jeremy and his versatile repertoire of skills, along with the trusty rhythm section, are guaranteed to keep you on the dance floor!
RUSTY STAVELY
Keys/Vocals
Rusty is a Memphis native with decades of experience in local and regional party bands. He currently serves as Music Director and Pianist at Collierville Christian Church. Rusty's fingers dance across the keys, delivering solos that evoke nostalgia. Whether it's a dazzling run or a soulful ballad, they channel the spirit of the original.
CHARLIE LAWING
Bass/Vocals
Charles (Charlie) came to Memphis in 1966 and first played Holiday Inn gigs to put food on the table. He has been in the middle of Memphis music since his move here, designing and building guitars for the stars. His ability to keep the bottom with his bass builds a solid bridge between the drummer and the rest of the band while providing vocals.
